Bus Ministry PDF Print E-mail
The Bus Ministry at first, was slow Buswork and there were many discouraging Sundays, but, after much faithfulness and perseverance by workers that prayed as if it all depended upon God and worked as if it all depended upon them, God began to bless this ministry of reaching lost souls with the Gospel.

Soon, Redemption Baptist Church and its bus and van were reaching into areas all over Winter Haven and the surrounding communities. Boys and girls, as well as moms and dads, began to come and hear the Gospel. Lives were changed and families renewed as a result of hearing the Gospel while riding one of those Church Buses to Sunday School at Redemption Baptist Church.

Bus loads of people, young and old, rich and poor, black, white, oriental, Hispanic, Asian, and many other nationalities ride our buses to Church each Sunday. Proverbs 22:2 says, "The rich and poor meet together: the LORD is the maker of them all." Surely, they all "meet together" on our Bus Routes each and every Sunday morning at Redemption Baptist Church.

Information About Our Bus Ministry

• Why Have a Bus Ministry? The Bible says, “Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” (Luke 14:23 ). We realize that some people (especially children) are unable to attend church on their own. We have made a way for these people to come to church.

• How Does the Bus Ministry Work? Every Sunday morning we send bus and van to pick up people in our area and bring them to church. On the buses they are supervised and taught by a friendly “Bus Captain” Upon arrival at the church they will be escorted to their age-appropriate class. After church is over, we load up the buses and take everyone back home.

• How Much Does It Cost? There is never a charge. The church absorbs all the expenses of this ministry.

• Where Do the Buses Run? We have 2 routes: one in Winter Haven, and the other in Eloise/Wahnetta

• How Can I Ride the Bus? If you are in our area, we would love to pick you up! Give us a call at 863-324-3144, and we will send a bus for you this Sunday.
